Ngayong madalas na nasa bahay lang ang pamilya niya, sinisigurado ni Solenn Heussaff na malinis at fresh ang hangin sa paligid.
Ayon sa latest vlog ng Kapuso actress, “I would have to say, we spend about 80% of our lives indoors and now it’s 99.9% of the time. The way we do it is, having good ventilation in your home, using an air purifier, opening your windows once in a while, using natural furniture, and plants! This is why I have so many plants at home because one, it looks beautiful. Two, I don’t have a garden. And three, it does help with the air and the atmosphere of our house.”
Mayroong 18 varieties ng indoor plants si Solenn. Ilan sa plant babies niya ang money plant, snake plant, philodendron, fiddle-leaf fig, spider plant, at jade plant. Para mapanatiling buhay, nilalagay niya ang mga ito malapit sa light sources, nililinis ang mga dahon gamit ang isang natural disinfectant, at once a week ay pinapaarawan sa labas. Depende rin sa halaman kung gaano ito kadalas dapat diligan.
Aminado si Solenn na wala siyang “green thumb” kaya naman may pakiusap siya sa mga ito, “I don’t have a green thumb. I am not a perfect plant person because I do have dead plants. So, for those people who do, try to teach people like me who are not into planting but want plants at home.”
